Obedience Essentials

If you don’t like the idea of your dog being away from you because they bring you comfort and you want to build that bond even further why not be part of the training team. This is the program for you! The Obedience Essentials is a 4-week program where the trainer comes to pick up your dog on a daily basis and trains in multiple environments under high levels of distractions such as the neighborhood, stores and parks just to name a few. After the training session the trainer goes over how the training went as well as instructing you what training you should be doing to help your dog progress.

At the end of training your dog will have solid obedience behavior in multiple environments, and be able to walk nicely with you on leash and off leash (if capable), even with distractions! This is the best way to get your dog trained so you can have a happy furry family member that will listen to your commands.

Training will focus on practical, everyday obedience training that is designed to deliver with a high level of precision, outside, off-leash with distractions, positive behavior! The Obedience Essentials provides everything your dog will need for good obedience. Your dog will learn manners and socialization. All behaviors are taught with an increasing level of distraction to reinforce good listening and encouraging desired behaviors. Positive re-enforcement will create desired behavior, which can also be enhanced with the assistance of an E-Collar when needed.

Here is what your dog will learn during their stay:

• Sit and Extended Sit (Dog remains in position until released)

• Down and Extended Down

• Down at a Distance (up to 100 yards)

• With or Without a Leash Walking (Off Leash Heel in all Environments)

• Come on command (outside, off-leash, with distractions)

• Manners (No jumping, Counter Surfing, No more Getting into the Trash)

• Doors Manners (Wait until told to enter or exit door)

• Vehicle Load (Only go into car when told to)

• Socialization around People and Dogs allowing you to enjoy your pet in the public

• Place and Extended Place (Jump up on any object you point to on command and stay there until released)

 

The total price of this 4-week program $2000.00.

After completion of The Obedience Essentials, you will be invited to do a proper turn over with the trainer. When you take over as master for your dog or puppy you can expect the session to last approximately 2-3 hours. Your Trainer will go into detail everything your dog has learned, the proper way to handle your dog/puppy and how to control them in everyday situations.
